Join us for a week of road cycling through the landscapes of Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains. Based in Sibiu and the Apuseni Mountains, we’ll ride highlights such as the Transalpina, take part in the T-Challenge race, and explore remote roads deep in the mountains.

4 nights in Sibiu, staying in the heart of the old town, walking distance to cafés, restaurants, and everything the city has to offer
3 nights in Apuseni, staying together in a house in the mountains (Pensiunea Emilia, Arieșeni)

Taper ride & city exploration in Sibiu
Optional participation in the T-Challenge race (37 km / 1,570 hm)

Rides are organised in two pace groups so everyone can find their rhythm

This trip is designed as a shared group experience with active participation on and off the bike
Event pricing & individual costs:
The shop price of €250 covers all shared essentials including accommodation, activities, and on-site organisation.
In addition, you can expect the following individual costs:
approx. €100 for transport and bike logistics
approx. €150 for travel to and from Romania
approx. €150 for food on site
approx. €50 for race registration (optional)
→ Estimated total: ~€700 per person
Travel recommendations (not included in shop price):
Travel to and from Sibiu can be organised individually. Common options from Vienna include night trains and FlixBus connections.
Night train: approx. €70–90 (couchette)
FlixBus: approx. €50
For the return journey, train connections via Budapest are typically available from around €40.
We recommend arriving in Sibiu on Saturday, July 4th, and departing on Saturday, July 11th.
We’ll coordinate travel plans and bike logistics within the group to make the journey as smooth as possible.
